family visits, pie party, snow skiing/ faceplant , birthdays, prank

Last week dad, mom, luke, andy, and lucy. and david and melissa and their kids were in town. it was really neat to see them all! we got to go disco skating! and play ultimate frisbee, and made sandwhiches, and visited melissas mom, and sent to lorana whitee (hedman)'s baby blessing, and play games and dinner at pauls. i made the dinner for everyone which was fun on sunday. we also went skiing on the mountain and it was realyit was a good weekend to see family. fun with alot of us there. altho the runs got shut off early but we got a free ski night for later for it.



yesterday i went to a pie party on march 14 aka 3.14, it was fun and a celebration of elizabeth bankheads birthday. i made this black forest pie and it was gone with in seconds. im am really enjoying cooking lately!

inhonor of johns birthday paul, sherry and me and a couple friends went to the mountain to ski! it was a beautiful day! very sunny for night skiing! we would go down the mountain so fast as we raced. one time me and paul went off a different way (this is when it was toward the end and very dark) and we went this way where there were no skiiers. we went fast down a hill and then it was extremely bumpy! -best wqay to descibe it is like when ur water skiing and u hit the bump water. anys we were really relieved that we didnt fall when it ended and then it started up again! right at the very end where we were celebrating in our heads we survived. i flew up in the air and came down face planted on the snow then rolled up on the top of my head and then the rest of my body came down slamming on my belly. no big injurys just my neck is sore and my ribs are brusied. but a pretty sweet story.

today was my roomate sams birthday and in honor she had a dessert party and for dinner me and courtney made choclate chip/peanutbutter chip pancakes (which is a tradition here ...we make pancakes EVERY sunday)

the other day we were bored and though hey lets prank. so me and my roomate courtney adn my friend anna went to prank our other friends kelli and chelsi. we used our resourses that we already had such as burritos. and it was pretty fun. they dontknow it was us but they keep asking..."whats with the burritos?" haha

another regular here is mail time. i at the age all my guy friends are on missions so i love mail and its a huge deal at my apartment and checking the mail. we just cant wait!

i went ice skating and played broom hockey for the first time the other week it was really fun!

shopping day - yesterday i did a shopping day at the outlets and an hour before we got there a crocs store openned up as a new store and in one spot there were crocs for 3 - 5 dollors which is super good! so i went crazy and bougnt a ton. even though i used to hate them now i like them! haha it was a fun girls day out
